Keeping the Momentum Going
Having just completed the California trip, some friends and family showed interest in joining us for the next game. We decided Cincinnati was a central location and made plans to hit the road for the Cubs at Reds game on June 23, 2018.
The drive took a few hours, but the driving was easy. This time my aunt and wife joined us so we has some extra company along the way.
Hotel Accommodations
We stayed just outside the city in Blue Ash at SpringHill Suites by Marriott. We reserved our rooms on Booking.com for a one night stay.

The Game
We arrived at Great American Ball Park for the 4:10 PM game. We coordinated to meet a friend of mine from work at the game. Our seats were in Section 134, Row II Seat 9 and 8, Row JJ Seat 9 and 8. The Cubs drew drew a good crowd making for an energetic game. Note all the Cubs (blue) shirts below.

Post Game Fun
After the game we enjoyed dinner and drinks at Montgomery Inn. After dinner we sat on the porch, relaxed by the river view, enjoyed drinks and shared stories.

The following morning we grabbed the last skyline photos of Cincinnati and left for home. On the way back we stopped at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn, an Ohio staple.
